The most important aspect of the work of esaExpo is the creation and production of exhibitions.
This involves devising and curating novel and original projects on an annual basis for international
tours, in collaboration with museums, public administrative bodies, cultural agencies and private
organizations, all of which have come to appreciate the company's professionalism in recent years.
Some key partners include the "Scavi Scaligeri" International photography centre, Verona (for
“Flavio Faganello: Work 1955-2005”, 2006), the MART Contemporary and Modern Art Museum of
Trento and Rovereto (“Cinema and Cartoons: Comic characters on the big screen”, 2006), the
Province of Pordenone (“The legend of Primo Carnera”, 2006), Pordenone city council (“On the
trail of Tex”, 2004, and “De Mirabilibus Mundi”, 2008), Bolzano city council (“A different angle:
Photographs by Gianni Berengo Gardin”, 2005, and “Josef Maria Auchentaller 1865-1949:
Secessionist on the edge of the Empire”, 2008), the Autonomous Province of Trento (“Electric
water: A history and catalogue of the hydroelectric power stations of Trentino”, 2008), Trento
Chamber of Commerce (“Apples in the art of Paolo Vallorz and Luciano Zanoni”, 2005, “Making
music with wood”, 2006, and “Here's to the Cinema! Bubbles on the big screen”, 2007), and the
Museum der Moderne, Salzburg (“Kino & Comics: Comic-Helden im Film”, 2007).
esaExpo exhibitions have been staged in many cities in Italy and the rest of Europe, including
Siena, Vicenza, Rome, Gorizia, Carpi, Vienna, Karlsruhe and Brussels.
This section is divided into information on the exhibitions currently on show, future projects and a
rich archive in which attention is drawn to some exhibitions which have now closed but are
nevertheless still available for future showings.
